Broadcast Remote Identification (B-RID) Requirement

You must not fly your drone unless it has built-in Broadcast Remote ID (B-RID) or a working B-RID module attached that broadcasts your remote ID info during flight. This does not apply to indoor flights or non-registrable drones.

A person must not operate, or cause or permit an individual to operate, an unmanned aircraft unless — (a) the unmanned aircraft has functioning B-RID capability or is affixed with a functioning B-RID module; and (b) the unmanned aircraft or the B-RID module affixed to the unmanned aircraft is capable of broadcasting all remote identification information in relation to the unmanned aircraft in accordance with the requirements specified in the Aviation Specifications 10 — Broadcast Remote Identification
