Original regulatory text

A part of Singapore airspace is — (a) a prohibited area if it is declared by the Director-General of Civil Aviation as an airspace in respect of which it is necessary to prohibit the flight of all aircraft over the area; or (b) a restricted area if it is declared by the Director-General of Civil Aviation as an airspace in respect of which it is necessary to restrict the flight of aircraft over the area to aircraft flown in accordance with specified conditions in the declaration.
