If you fly a drone that requires safety certification without getting one, you can be fined up to 5 million KRW.

A person who operates an ultralight flying device (초경량비행장치) without obtaining safety certification (안전성인증) verifying compliance with technical safety standards shall be subject to an administrative fine (과태료) of up to 5 million KRW.
