Section 2: RPA airframes, power plants, propulsion, and systems (KNO) The RPA pilot operating within level 1 complex operations must be able to: - Identify Aircraft Class / Category based on ICAO definitions. - Demonstrate knowledge of applicable operational principles such as: - Components - Aerodynamics - Weight and Balance - Launch - Take-off, initial climb / Level off / Hover / Forward Flight - Flight operations, missions and manoeuvres - Landing / Recovery Airframes The RPA pilot operating within level 1 complex operations must be able to: - Describe how to decide if an airframe is airworthy after something out of order is found during a pre-flight inspection.
