Flight Approval in Controlled, Restricted, and Caution Airspace

You must get flight approval before flying in controlled, restricted, or caution airspace. However, if your drone weighs 25 kg or less, you can fly below 150 meters without approval, provided you are outside of control zones (near airports) and flight-prohibited areas.

An ultralight flying device pilot must not fly in controlled, restricted, or caution airspace without flight approval (비행승인), except for military purposes or when flying an unmanned power-driven flying device (무인동력비행장치) with a maximum take-off weight of 25 kg or less below an altitude of 150 meters outside of control zones and flight-prohibited areas.

3. 법 제78조제1항에 따른 관제공역ㆍ통제공역ㆍ주의공역에서 비행하는 행위. 다만, 법 제127조에 따라 비행승인을 받은 경우와 다음 각 목의 행위는 제외한다. 가. 군사목적으로 사용되는 초경량비행장치를 비행하는 행위 나. 다음의 어느 하나에 해당하는 비행장치를 별표 23 제2호에 따른 관제권 또는 비행금지구역이 아닌 곳에서 제199조제1호나목에 따른 최저비행고도(150미터) 미만의 고도에서 비행하는 행위 1) 제5조제5호가목에 따른 무인동력비행장치 중 최대이륙중량이 25킬로그램 이하인 것
