First Person View (FPV) Flight Conditions

You can fly using FPV goggles only if you have a spotter next to you who keeps visual contact with the drone and can warn you instantly of any hazards.

Requirement as structured

A remote pilot may fly a model aircraft using First Person View (FPV) only if a second person keeps the aircraft in direct visual line of sight and is able to immediately warn the pilot of any danger.

Par dérogation au paragraphe 1er, alinéa 1er, le pilote à distance d'un aéromodèle peut effectuer un vol en immersion si une seconde personne conserve l'aéromodèle dans son champ de vision direct et est en mesure, à tout instant, d'informer le pilote à distance de tout danger éventuel afin de susciter de sa part une réaction immédiate.
