Original regulatory text

Despite paragraph (1), a person who has not attained the requisite minimum age may operate an unmanned aircraft that has a total mass exceeding 1.5 kg but not exceeding 7 kg for a recreation purpose or an education purpose under the supervision of another person (called in this Part a supervising pilot) who — (a) has attained the requisite minimum age; and (b) holds a UA basic training certificate, or holds a UA pilot licence that is in force.
