In the most popular areas of Þingvellir National Park (including Almannagjá, Lögberg, Silfra, and Öxarárfoss), you can only fly your drone early in the morning before 9:00 AM or late in the afternoon after 6:00 PM.

Drone flying in the designated high-visitor area of Þingvellir National Park, from Þjónustumiðstöð at Leirar in the north to Þingvallavatn in the south, is prohibited between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00.

At Þingvellir national park there are also following limitations in the area from Þjónustumiðstöð at Leirar in the north to Þingvallavatn in the south: - Droneflying shall be done in the early morning, before 09:00, or late in the afternoon, after 18:00.
