Affixing Certification Markings to Type-Certified Unmanned Aircraft

If you hold a type certification for a drone and have ensured it conforms to the certified design, you must affix the official certification mark to the drone as specified by the ministry.

Requirement as structured

A person who has obtained a Type Certification (型式認証等) must affix the marking prescribed by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to the unmanned aircraft of the certified type once they have fulfilled their conformity obligations under Article 132-18, Paragraph 2.

型式認証等を受けた者は、型式認証等を受けた型式の無人航空機について、前条第二項の規定による義務を履行したときは、当該無人航空機に国土交通省令で定める表示を付さなければならない。
