Applicant must provide to Traficom the following documentation in English: - An application form Ulkoinen verkkopalvelu. for a cross-border UAS operation in the ‘specific’ category - A copy of the operational authorization (PDRA or SORA) or LUC issued by the Competent Authority of the Member State of registration. - The operations manual (OM), including the adapted operational procedures and mitigation measures to comply with the applicable local conditions in Finland. Local conditions in Finland are as follows: - Icing conditions maybe encountered - Population density map can be found at Tilastokeskus (External link) Ulkoinen verkkopalvelu. . Population grid data 1 km x 1 km 2021 - UAS geographical zones in Finland can be found at Droneinfo UAS geo zones (External link) Ulkoinen verkkopalvelu. or in visual format in Flyk (External link) Ulkoinen verkkopalvelu. - If the area of operation is larger than 500 km2 or operator intends to photograph some areas they need a permit from the Finnish Defense Forces https://puolustusvoimat.fi/en/instructions-for-aerial-photographers (External link) Ulkoinen verkkopalvelu. - GPS file of the intended flight location (e.g.*kml) indicating flight geography and contingency volume.
