It is a condition of a remote pilot licence that the licence holder must not operate an RPA above 400 ft AGL in controlled airspace, or within 3 nautical miles of the movement area of a controlled aerodrome, unless he or she holds at least one of the following qualifications: (a) an aeronautical radio operator certificate; (b) a flight crew licence; (c) an ATC licence; (d) a military qualification equivalent to a licence mentioned in paragraph (b) or (c); (e) a flight service licence.
