UAS Class Declaration of Conformity and Labelling

If your drone is class-marked for UK open-category use, it must be a UK0 to UK4 marked aircraft, come with its declaration of conformity and carry the class label. UK law uses UK class labels, not the EU C0 to C4 labels.

Requirement as structured

For operations with class-marked UAS (classes UK0 to UK4, as defined in Parts 1 to 5 of the Annex to the retained Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/945), the UAS operator must ensure the UAS is accompanied by the corresponding declaration of conformity, including the reference to the appropriate class, and that the related class identification label is affixed to the unmanned aircraft.

in the case of an operation with an unmanned aircraft of one of the classes defined in Parts 1 to 5 of the Annex of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/945, ensure that the UAS is: accompanied by the corresponding ... declaration of conformity, including the reference to the appropriate class; and the related class identification label is affixed to the unmanned aircraft.
