外務大臣は、前項の規定により対象外国公館等及び当該対象外国公館等の敷地又は区域を指定するときは、当該対象外国公館等の敷地又は区域及びその周囲おおむね千メートルの地域を、当該対象外国公館等に係る対象施設周辺地域として指定するものとする。
