Tillåtande geografiska UAS-zoner innebär att undantag från vissa regler i den öppna kategorin enligt artikel 4 i kommissionens genomförandeförordning (EU) 2019/947 av den 24 maj 2019 om regler och förfaranden för drift av obemannade luftfartyg beviljas. Generellt sett gäller undantaget eller undantagen endast den som ansökt om zonen.
