Commencement Date of Type Certification Validity Period

The validity of a drone's type certification starts on the day the certificate is issued. If you renew the certificate within one month before it expires, the new validity period will seamlessly start on the day after the current one expires.

The validity period of a Type Certification (型式認証) shall commence on the date the Type Certificate (型式認証書) is issued; however, if a new Type Certificate is issued within one month prior to the expiration date of the existing certification, the new validity period shall commence on the day following the expiration date.

型式認証の有効期間の起算日は、当該型式認証に係る型式認証書を交付する日とする。ただし、当該型式について型式認証の有効期間が満了する日の一月前から当該期間が満了する日までの間に新たに型式認証書を交付する場合は、当該期間が満了する日の翌日とする。
