UAD.020 UA pilot license (applicable from January 2024) No one shall fly UA in UAE airspace without a pilot license issued by GCAA or LAA, as the case. The following are the requirements to obtain a GCAA UA license, but not limited to: (a) The applicant shall be of 18 years minimum unless otherwise accepted by the GCAA or LAA, as the case. (b) The applicant shall successfully complete UA training provided by UA training organisation approved by GCAA or LAA, as the case. (c) The applicant shall be UAE resident.
