Placing an Application on Hold

If the CAA assigns an inspector to your application but you are not ready to work with them, let them know immediately. They can put your application on hold so you do not lose your place in line or incur extra costs from stopping and starting.

CAA NZ states that an applicant who is not ready to proceed when their application is assigned to an inspector can let the CAA know, so the application can be placed on hold without it going to the back of the queue.

If you aren't ready to proceed when your application is assigned to an inspector for assessment, please let us know, so your application can be placed on hold without it going to the back of the queue. We'd much prefer not to start your assessment, then have to stop part-way through because you have other commitments.
