Conditions for the control zone clearance exemptions

To use the control zone exemptions your drone must stay at or below 25 m/s (50 kt / 90 km/h) and at least 5 km from any part of the airport's runways.

For the clearance exemptions in 3 kap. 3 § second and third paragraphs (and the TIZ radio exemption in 3 kap. 4 § second paragraph), the following conditions must be met: the unmanned aircraft's speed must not exceed 25 metres per second (50 knots or 90 km/h), and the unmanned aircraft must not be flown closer than 5 km from any part of the runway or runways of the aerodrome for which the control zone or traffic information zone is established (see Annex 1 for how to measure the distance).

Följande villkor ska vara uppfyllda för det obemannade luftfartyget: 1. Att det obemannade luftfartygets hastighet inte överstiger 25 meter/ sekund (50 knop eller 90 kilometer/timme). 2. Att det obemannade luftfartyget inte flygs närmare än 5 km från någon del av flygplatsens start- och landningsbana/or. Se bilaga 1 för instruktioner om avståndsmätning till start- och landningsbana. Med flygplats avses den flygplats för vilken kontrollzonen/trafikinformationszonen är upprättad.
