Skogsmark är undantagen från kravet på spridningstillstånd under vissa villkor. Det ska vara markägaren som har beställt materialet eller varit fotograf. Bilderna får inte innehålla fordon eller andra mänskliga aktiviteter förutom sådant som tillhör skogsbruket. Om materialet exempelvis innehåller kraftledning gäller inte undantaget.
