Reduced distance to HEMS airfields for certified pilots

If you hold a certificate of competency (kompetencecertifikat), you are permitted to fly as close as 1 km horizontally to a HEMS airfield.

Drone operations within 2 km of a HEMS airfield are otherwise prohibited, but if the remote pilot holds a competency certificate they may take place up to 1 km horizontal distance from the HEMS airfield; between 1 and 2 km the flight altitude must not exceed 40 m above the airfield's runway elevation, subject to a deviation permit under § 10(3).

Stk. 2. Hvis fjernpiloten er indehaver af et kompetencecertifikat, må operationer med droner finde sted indtil 1 km horisontal afstand fra en lægehelikopterflyveplads (HEMS). Foregår droneoperationen 1-2 km horisontal afstand fra en lægehelikopterflyveplads, må flyvehøjden ikke overstige 40 meter over lægehelikopterflyvepladsens banehøjde, jf. dog stk. 3.
