Exemption from Physical Exam via Prior Exams or Aviation Medical Certificate

The Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism may substitute the physical examination with a document review if the applicant has passed a qualifying physical exam for a pilot test within the past year, or holds a valid aviation medical certificate (航空身体検査証明書).

国土交通大臣は、次に掲げる場合には、認定により、書類の確認をもつて、その者に対する身体検査とすることができる。 一身体検査の各項目について基準に該当した者が身体検査を受けた日から一年以内に次に掲げる場合に応じ、それぞれ次に定める試験の申請をした場合 イ一等無人航空機操縦士試験（最大離陸重量二十五キログラム未満の回転翼航空機（ヘリコプター）、回転翼航空機（マルチローター）又は飛行機についての限定（以下「最大離陸重量二十五キログラム未満についての限定」という。）をしないもの（当該限定の変更をされるものを含む。）に限る。）の身体検査に合格した場合一等無人航空機操縦士試験及び二等無人航空機操縦士試験 ロ一等無人航空機操縦士試験（最大離陸重量二十五キログラム未満についての限定をされるものに限る。）又は二等無人航空機操縦士試験の身体検査に合格した場合一等無人航空機操縦士試験（最大離陸重量二十五キログラム未満についての限定をされるものに限る。）及び二等無人航空機操縦士試験 二第六十一条の二の航空身体検査証明書の有効期間内に試験の申請をした場合 三その他国土交通大臣が定める場合
