安定した通信を確保するため、通信 SIM を複数社契約して、1 通信会社当たりの同じエリアによる接続機体数を減らした。10 月の実証において、1 通信会社当たりの同じエリアによる接続機体数が 5 機とした場合、通信の不安定・途絶する事象が頻繁に発生し、1 通信会社あたり SIM 4 枚 程度が限界であった。
