Attitude line of sight (ALOS): The ALOS defines the maximum distance up to which a remote pilot can detect the position and orientation of the UA. Up to this limit, the remote pilot is able to control the flight path of the UA and is able to determine the attitude and position of the UA. This distance was determined in practical tests.
