You must not alter, hide, or interfere with your drone's built-in electronic identification during flight unless you have written permission from CASA.

An RPA required to be registered must use its manufacturer-allocated electronic identification during operation without it being changed, masked, or interfered with unless written permission is granted by CASA.

An unmanned aircraft to which this section applies must at all times when it is operating: ... (b) use the electronic identification of the aircraft (if any) allocated by the manufacturer, in such a way that it is not changed, masked or interfered with in any way without the written permission of CASA.
