In plain language
Before a flight instructor can be authorized to test students (act as an examiner), the Chief Remote Instructor must verify that they meet all the official qualification requirements for that size of drone.
Requirement as structured
Before authorizing a RePL training instructor to act as an examiner for any RPA size category, the Chief Remote Instructor (CRI) must ensure the instructor meets all prescribed requirements for that examiner role.
Original regulatory text
Before an operator’s CRI authorises the operator’s RePL training instructor (an instructor) to be an examiner for a medium or large RPA, or a small or very small RPA, as the case may be, the CRI must be satisfied that the instructor meets each of the requirements prescribed for such an instructor in the relevant definition of an examiner.
