You must pay the required fee to the IAA before they will issue, renew, or amend any drone operator registration, pilot certificate, or operational authorisation.

All applicable fees must be paid to the Irish Aviation Authority prior to the grant, amendment, renewal, or carrying out of any certificate, licence, approval, authorisation, examination, or test.

The charge in respect of an activity set out in the Schedule of Charges shall be paid to the Authority prior to grant or renewal of any certificate, licence, instrument of approval or authorisation concerned or prior to the undertaking of an examination or test subject to a fee under that Schedule.
