BEK nr 1649 af 12/12/2023, § 9Version 1Effective 20 May 2025Verified -

In plain language

If you hold a competency certificate, you can fly between 2 km and 8 km from an IMC aerodrome runway. However, you must strictly follow these altitude limits: max 120m AGL (8-6 km outside approach paths), max 100m above runway height (8-6 km inside approach paths), max 40m above runway height (6-3 km), and max 30m above runway height (3-2 km).

Requirement as structured

If the remote pilot holds a competency certificate, drone operations may take place from 8 km down to 2 km horizontal distance from a runway at an IMC aerodrome (IMC-flyveplads). The flight altitude must not exceed 120 m above terrain from 8 km to 6 km outside the approach and departure areas published on www.dronezoner.dk, 100 m above runway elevation from 8 km to 6 km inside those published approach and departure areas, 40 m above runway elevation from 6 km to 3 km, and 30 m above runway elevation from 3 km to 2 km.

Original regulatory text
