国土交通大臣は、第一項第一号又は第二号に該当することを理由として同項ただし書の規定により技能証明を保留する場合において、必要があると認めるときは、当該処分の際に、その者に対し、国土交通大臣が指定する期日及び場所において身体検査を受け、又は国土交通大臣が指定する期限までに国土交通省令で定める要件を満たす医師の診断書を提出すべき旨を命ずることができる。
