The FAA will recognize an applicant that submits information demonstrating compliance with 49 U.S.C. § 44809(h) as a CBO. If the FAA recognizes the CBO, the FAA will issue a letter of recognition to the CBO evidencing the organization’s status as a recognized CBO. The FAA will maintain a list of recognized CBOs at https://www.faa.gov/uas/recreational_fliers/.
