Unmanned gliders below 10 kg: distance from the surface and height above the remote pilot

An unmanned glider under 10 kg may be more than 120 metres from the nearest point of the surface — for example when slope soaring — as long as it is never more than 120 metres above you, the remote pilot.

Requirement as structured

Unmanned gliders with a mass below 10 kilogrammes may be operated at a distance greater than 120 metres from the nearest point of the surface, provided the glider is never operated at a height greater than 120 metres above the remote pilot.
