If you are leaving your role as a prime person, the CAA recommends getting written confirmation of your departure date from your organization and letting the CAA know you are moving on.

Requirement as structured

CAA NZ recommends that a departing prime person obtains written acknowledgement of their intended departure date from the organization and considers notifying the CAA directly.

Original regulatory text

We recommend that if you’re a prime person leaving an organisation, you make sure you receive written acknowledgement from that organisation, of your intended departure date. It may also be appropriate to let the CAA know that you’re moving on.
