If bad weather or other conditions make it impossible to test a specific flight skill, your instructor must have you explain it orally or use a simulator, and they must write a formal note explaining why the real test could not happen.

If operating conditions prevent the demonstration of a practical variable, the instructor must require the applicant to complete a simulation or oral explanation and certify in writing why the physical demonstration was impossible.

If a variable was not selected for demonstration because operating conditions made it impossible in practice to demonstrate the variable, the RePL training instructor must: (a) require the applicant to provide: (i) a satisfactory computerised simulation... or (ii) a detailed oral explanation... and (b) certify in writing to the RePL training organisation... that: (i) operating conditions made it impossible in practice to demonstrate the variable; and (ii) for reasons stated in the certification, it would be unreasonable to require that the variable be demonstrated on another occasion.
