Knowledge Deficiency Reports (KDRs)

If you pass your drone theory exam but get some questions wrong (scoring between 85% and 99%), the training school must give you a written report showing which topics you missed.

Requirement as structured

If a candidate passes an RePL aeronautical knowledge exam with a score of less than 100%, the training organisation must prepare a written Knowledge Deficiency Report (KDR) and provide a copy to the candidate.

Original regulatory text

The RePL training organisation must, as soon as practicable: (a) inform the candidate of the items of the aeronautical knowledge units with respect to which the candidate answered examination questions incorrectly... and (b) prepare a written report (the knowledge deficiency report or KDR) confirming the knowledge deficiency; and (c) give a copy of the KDR to the candidate.
