Der praktische Teil kann bei sogenannten „Recognised Entities“, also Trainingsorganisationen, welche von der zuständigen Behörde bestimmt werden, oder auch von den UAS-Betreibern, welcher alle dafür vorgesehenen Voraussetzungen und Bedingungen erfüllt und die Einhaltung Austro Control erklärt, durchgeführt werden. Es umfasst ein umfangreiches Training mit einem anschließenden Assessment.
