Display of Unmanned Aircraft Certification Number

If your drone has received safety certification, you must display its certification certificate number on the aircraft. If you display the Class 1 certification number, you do not need to display the Class 2 certification number.

The display required for a certified unmanned aircraft must be its unmanned aircraft certification certificate number (機体認証書番号); however, if the Class 1 Unmanned Aircraft Certification (第一種機体認証) certificate number is displayed, the Class 2 Unmanned Aircraft Certification (第二種機体認証) certificate number does not need to be displayed.

法第百三十二条の十三第八項本文の国土交通省令で定める表示は、無人航空機の機体認証書番号とする。ただし、同条第二項第一号の第一種機体認証に係る機体認証書番号を表示する場合には、同項第二号の第二種機体認証に係る機体認証書番号を表示しないことができる。
