Transponder Testing and Documentation Requirements

If your uncertified drone is equipped with a transponder, its testing must be officially documented. The test record must include details of the drone, the transponder, the calibration of the test equipment, and must be signed by a technician holding an EASA Part-66 maintenance license.

Requirement as structured

Every transponder test must be documented in the unmanned aircraft records or an equivalent document, and the transponder test sheets and the 'Certificate of completed testing' from Appendix 1 must be kept in the unmanned aircraft records. The test sheets must contain the type, model and serial number of the test equipment and of the transponder.

7.6 Svaka provedba testiranja mora biti dokumentirana u zapisima bespilotnog zrakoplova ili jednakovrijednom dokumentu, a ispitne liste transpondera i "Potvrda o provedenom ispitivanju" iz Priloga 1 ove Naredbe pohranjene u zapisima bespilotnog zrakoplova. Ispitne liste transpondera moraju sadržavati podatke o tipu/modelu/serijskom broju test opreme i transpondera.
