Requirement as structured

A UAS operator is not required to obtain an operational authorisation or to submit a declaration for operations conducted in the framework of a model aircraft club or association that has received an authorisation in accordance with Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2019/947, and the exemption reaches only operations carried out within the conditions and limitations of that authorisation; every other applicable requirement of the Regulation continues to apply.

6. An operational authorisation or a declaration shall not be required for: (a) UAS operators holding an LUC with appropriate privileges in accordance with point UAS.LUC.060 of the Annex; (b) operations conducted in the framework of model aircraft clubs and associations that have received an authorisation in accordance with Article 16.
