Notification duties when aerial application is carried out

Permitted aerial spraying must be notified in advance to regional and municipal authorities and is supervised by the ELY Centre.

Requirement as structured

Aerial application of a plant protection product must be carried out with particular care and so that it does not endanger human or animal health or cause unreasonable harm to the environment. Advance notice of the aerial application must be given in good time before it takes place to the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centre), the municipal environmental protection authority and health protection authority, and the municipal veterinary officer. The aerial application is carried out under the supervision of the ELY Centre.
