Physical Identification of Registered RPA

If your drone is required to be registered, you must clearly display either its manufacturer serial number or its CASA registration mark on or inside the drone (such as in an easily opened battery compartment) so it can be easily inspected.

An RPA required to be registered must legibly display its manufacturer's serial number or, if none exists, its CASA-allocated registration mark in an easily seen or accessible manner at all times during operation.

An unmanned aircraft to which this section applies must at all times when it is operating: (a) legibly display, in a manner that is easily seen or accessible: (i) the manufacturer’s serial number; or (ii) if there is no manufacturer’s serial number — the mark allocated by CASA when the aircraft was registered
