Obligation to Display Registration Mark

Once your drone is registered and you receive your registration number, you must display this registration mark on the drone or take other required identification measures without delay.

The owner of a registered unmanned aircraft (登録無人航空機) must, without delay upon receiving notification of the registration mark, display the registration mark on the aircraft or take other measures to identify the registration mark in accordance with the Ordinance of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

前条第一項の登録を受けた無人航空機（以下「登録無人航空機」という。）の所有者は、同条第三項の規定により登録記号の通知を受けたときは、国土交通省令で定めるところにより、遅滞なく当該無人航空機に当該登録記号の表示その他の当該無人航空機の登録記号を識別するための措置を講じなければならない。
