Käitamisteatise kinnitamise või sellest keeldumise teeb Transpordiamet 30 päeva jooksul taotluse esitamisest arvates, või kui taotluses esineb puudusi, siis puuduste kõrvaldamisest arvates. Sarnaselt teiste erikategooria taotluse menetluse puhul, kui taotlust ei vaadata läbi tähtaja jooksul, ei loeta sertifikaati tähtaja möödumisel taotlejale vaikimisi antuks.
