Requirement as structured

An unmanned aircraft pilot must promptly return their Competency Certificate (技能証明書) to the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, accompanied by a written statement of the reason, if the certificate expires without renewal, is revoked, otherwise loses validity, or if a lost certificate is found after a replacement has been issued.

第二百三十六条の六十八　無人航空機操縦者は、次に掲げる場合には、速やかに、その事由を記載した書面を添えて、その有する技能証明書（第四号の場合には、発見した技能証明書）を国土交通大臣に返納しなければならない。 一法第百三十二条の五十一第二項の規定による技能証明の有効期間の更新を行わず、技能証明の効力が失われたとき。 二法第百三十二条の五十三の規定により技能証明を取り消されたとき。 三前二号のほか、技能証明の効力が失われたとき。 四前条第三項の規定により技能証明書の再交付を受けた後又は第二百三十八条の規定により届出をした後、失つた技能証明書を発見したとき。
