Longer-term press permission for security-critical geographical drone zones

The press can hold a standing permission for named security-critical drone zones for urgent or highly significant news. It can never cover flight-safety-critical zones, and the zone manager's consent must still be obtained immediately before each flight, on that manager's conditions.

Requirement as structured

The press may apply for a longer-term permission covering particular security-critical (sikringskritiske) geographical drone zones, for reporting news that is urgent or of particular and substantial importance to the public. The application must identify the geographical drone zones for which the special permission is sought. A special permission under this provision cannot be granted for flight-safety-critical (flyvesikringskritiske) geographical drone zones. Before flying at such a zone the press must obtain the consent of the manager of the geographical zone and must comply with any conditions imposed by that manager, and the consent must be obtained immediately before the drone operation is to be carried out.

Stk. 3. Pressen kan ansøge om en længerevarende tilladelse for særlige, sikringskritiske områder til brug for formidling af nyheder af hastende karakterer eller af særlig, væsentlig betydning for offentligheden. Ansøgningen skal indeholde de geografiske dronezoner, som pressen ønsker en særlig tilladelse til. Der kan ikke gives en særlig tilladelse til flyvesikringskritiske, geografiske dronezoner efter dette stykke. Pressen skal indhente samtykke fra forvalteren af den geografiske zone, før der må flyves ved disse og skal overholde eventuelle betingelser fra forvalteren. Samtykket skal indhentes, umiddelbart før en droneoperation ønskes gennemført.
